Minimum Distribution Factors - Use this calculator to compute minimum distribution factors. To compute your minimum distribution, divide the previous years 12/31 fund balance by the column titled 'MD Factor' or multiply it by the column titled 'Percentage of Fund'. The Percentage of Fund column is equal to 1.0/MD Factor.

Participant/Owner Born: Enter the Month, Day and Year of Birth as MM/DD/YYYY

Recalculate Participant's Life Expectancy:
Answer Yes to do an annual Recalculation or No to do a Term Certain calculation.

Beneficiary Born: Enter the Month, Day and Year of Birth as MM/DD/YYYY

Recalculate Beneficiary's Life Expectancy: Answer Yes to do an annual Recalculation or No to do a Term Certain calculation. To do an annual recalculation, the beneficiary must be the spouse of the owner/participant. This entry is only used by the OLD calculations.

Are Participant and Beneficiary Married: Answer Yes if the Beneficiary is the Owner's spouse. This entry is only used by the OLD calculations.

Use Joint Life Expectancy Calculations: Answer Yes to perform joint calculations or No to only use the life expectancy of the Owner/Participant. This entry is only used by the OLD calculations.
