Human Life Value

The Value of People at Work - Calculating an individual's human life value involves first determining the amount of his/her income allocated directly to family support. This is done by deducting income taxes, personal life and health insurance premiums and the cost of self-maintenance from the worker's annual income. Added to this value is the value of any fringe benefits that directly benefit the family and the value any household services performed by the worker.
